Old Saco Inn - Fryeburg

Our favourite, family-friendly hotel in Fryeburg with helpful staff. Secluded location right on the river. Perfectly pleasant stay for a longer weekend.

Amicable staff and STUNNING location in the White Mountain area, everything was perfect. The room I booked was a nice size and unique with fantastic views and great Christmas music and comfortable beds. Location: the hotel was right by Conway, Mt. Washington, Cannon, the Flume Gorge and North Woodstock/Lincoln and the Old Saco Inn.

The cozy setting by the Saco River was amazing! Bruce and Jon's hospitality. Only wish the bed was a bit more comfortable. Can't wait to return 🌅

Charming spot with room for improvement

The place is super cozy with a beautiful dining area and a yummy breakfast. The fridge wasn't plugged in, so we had to wait for it to chill. A bit annoying, but the little details really do make it special.

The meals, including a. The setting along the river provided a peaceful atmosphere that enhanced our relaxation. The only improvement would be the addition of more accessible pathways for ease of movement, especially for those with mobility concerns.

The beautifully maintained inn offers a tranquil garden view that enhances the stay. Breakfast is a notable highlight, with a good freshly prepared meal and seasonal fruits parked beside a warm cinnamon roll.

The room was spacious and included Alexa for music. Breakfast featured delicious cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit. The fireplace created a warm ambiance. I appreciated the lovely decor and inviting communal spaces 🌲

Our stay was amazing. the breakfast was cooked to order and the homemade cinnamon rolls were a good touch. The attention to detail in the hotel's decor was lovely, too! Definitely returning!

We had a blast canoeing down the river and enjoyed a cozy evening by the fireplace with a tasty meal. The queen room with garden view was lovely, and we really appreciated the relaxing atmosphere in the common areas and the time spent in the outdoor garden. The bed was a bit firm for my liking, but overall, it was a fantastic experience-definitely try the breakfast 😊

The attention to detail in the decor was fine, with every cozy nook inviting exploration. Breakfast was an absolute delight, especially Jon's Eggs Blackstone, served alongside that to-die-for homemade cinnamon roll. The hospitality reminded me of being welcomed into a friend's home, complete with Izzie, the innkeeper's adorable dog!

It was just a suitable option for a mini-break over the weekend in Fryeburg with excellent value for money. Breakfast was good, and Bruce was really friendly when we finally spoke to him. Be prepared to wait if you arrive during check-in hours.

This place suits me perfectly! It offers great amenities like free Wi-Fi, a cozy bar/lounge area, and the opportunity for skiing. On my first stay, the staff helped me with technical issues, which I appreciated. I highly recommend staying here!

The location of the hotel was secluded yet close enough to the Old Saco Inn. the "barn" restaurant was absolutely GORGEOUS. -the room was well-appointed and neat with comfortable beds.
